Panda is one of three dogs who were abandoned at the SPA together in mid October by a man who had allowed his dog to have an unwanted litter. Instead of letting the puppies find homes, however, he had kept them in his garage until the age of two years. So when these dogs arrived at the refuge they were not at all well socialised. Thankfully the staff and volunteers have been working hard with them, and Panda is ready for his new home. He is a lovely boy, probably a lab collie cross. He is very calm and gentle, and after an initial panic when the lead is put on, he is fabulous on walks. He is still learning the ropes, though, so a patient home or one with another dog is preferred.
