Sally is a young griffon basset who was found in a nearby village. Like many dogs of her breed she is very nervous of people, although she will not use her teeth to defend herself. At the time of writing she has only recently arrived, and as yet is not sharing her kennel, but as we know that many of you like this breed, we thought we would give you a preview. Sally is three years old, according to the vet’s estimate, and it is possible that she has made her way to the ScPA from a hunt kennel. She will progress quickly at the refuge, we are sure, and as many of you know, these dogs make wonderful companions, although in Sally’s case we would probably recommend that her new family have another dog to show her the way.
