Our urgent appeal this week is for Bullet. This 10 year old pedigree German Shepherd has found himself at the SPA following the sad death of his owner. It is always tragic when this happens, but perhaps more so in this case where the owner was relatively young and should have easily outlived his beloved dog.
Bullet was born in November 2006 and is in fabulous condition for his age.He has been loved and well cared for throughout his entire life and has never changed homes. Until now, that is, when he finds himself alone and bewildered in a concrete kennel.
At the moment Bullet is in fabulous health and loves his walks. However people who know this breed know all too well that hip problems can come about with age. For this reason we would like Bullet’s new home to have easy access to outside, and not too many steps inside. The home has to be cat free, too. Regarding other dogs, Bullet ignores them on walks, but would rather not share his home.
Please help us find this poor dog a new home. We have his pedigree papers at the SPA and although he will leave us castrated, we know that lovers of this breed with appreciate this dog’s magnificent physique.
