Diesel is one of those dogs who seems to be in the process of being left behind, and we have no idea why. This young lad (he was born in November 2016) has been at the SPA for five months already. Initially he received a lot of attention, a picture of him won the summer photographic competition, and there were high hopes that an adoption would follow. But nothing.
Recently brother and sister June and Len arrived and were adopted, and it appears that no one else wants a dark coloured shepherd cross. However Diesel needs a home too!
He is a wonderful dog, good on the lead, good with other dogs, very affectionate with people. He shares his kennel with another male dog with no problems. Diesel would be fine as a only dog, or would be a great playmate for another dog.
Let’s try and find him a home before refuge life becomes the norm for this lovely boy.
As with all dogs at the SPA, Diesel is castrated, vaccinated, treated against Kennel Cough and microchipped and his adoption fee is just €170.
