Mila is a very tall border collie cross, she looks like a tradtional border, classic black and white, but she is more the size of a Belgian shepherd. She even has the pointed ears!
Mila arrived at the SPA in mid-November, abandoned by her owner who was pregnant and not sure about being able to cope with a border collie and a baby at the same time.
This may sound crazy, but we know from a recent failed adoption that Mila does suffer from jealousy. At the SPA she shares her kennel, and although she has no trouble walking or even sharing play areas with other dogs, inside a home she does not tolerate female dogs. She searches for affection all the time and it is this that causes issues with other dogs.
Like many of our dogs she is wary of strangers, particularly men, but will become almost instantly devoted to her family. She is wonderfully affectionate and well-mannered both on or off the lead. She can be left alone without showing any destructive tendencies or separation anxiety; all she wants is a home of her own.
Mila was born in November 2014. She is fully vaccinated, sterilised and microchipped and her adoption fee is €170.
