Meet Fred, a lovely 12 year old Springer Spaniel who urgently needs a new home.

Fred has been with his current owner since a pup and has been a much loved for boy. Sadly, his owner is unwell and unable to care for him.

At the moment Fred is living in a flat with friends but one of the carers has developed an allergy so can’t stay there long term. He is currently in Laurens, 34

It’s so very sad when an elderly owner can’t continue to care for their pets and all of her friends are desperately trying to help. Even with the best support network it would be much better for Fred to be settled in a forever home.

Fred is microchipped and sterilised and in good health. He’s great with other dogs, cats (he lives with one) and children although the children he has met have been older.

Housetraining is no problem and Fred will stare at you when he needs out. He would love a garden and even at 12 years old he is an active boy, enjoying two walks per day. He is used to being off lead and has good recall. Fred can be left for a couple of hours alone but is used to his owner being around most of the time.

So in a nutshell we have a lovely boy who has been surrounded by love since a pup looking for a forever family.
